  1. Oh wow Scott! You’ve captured the gathering storm but more importantly, the vulnerability of the fishermen in their exposed boat. It’s a scene that is no doubt played out everyday, but you’ve framed it so beautifully.

    • Thanks Wendy! The ocean and large lakes to have a feeling of vulnerability. Funny that I just had a dream last night about being on a boat and battling through a half frozen lake Huron.

    • Thanks Lauren! It reminds me of one time when I was a kid. My parents took us out on a boat with no motor (only paddles) and then a storm came, lightening and all, and how afraid I was as my father fiercely paddled his heart out to get us back safely hahaha.

    • Thanks Valarie. I agree with what you say. This was at the tip of our “thumb” in a pleasant place you might like to visit someday. (Caseville)

    • Thanks Jennifer. As poets I think we sometimes live for breathtaking moments. I’m due for some soon actually (tired of winter here.)
I’m still thinking in your last poem. That’s so deep as is all your work. Takes me a couple days to comment sometimes πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Geo Sans. Always love your poetic comments. Very unique! Was happy when I returned to blogville to see you’re still writing. You’re much more consistent than I am haha.
