Dreams Adrift

B&W

The hours between the sun setting and it’s rise, often so quiet, yet a heart can burn in memory, or soar in dream. Ghosts released from the caverns to remind of dreams displaced to a different shore. Peace during quiet moments muted into pondering of hope as eyes locked on horizons supplement the long missed stares into a soul anticipating a promised forever. Darkness, steal the horizons and dismiss the blue skies, but uncover the treasure that was seen in her eyes.

    • Thanks Wendy! I actually had a weekend that wasn’t overwhelmed with tasks so my mind could open up a little. Hopefully I get more moments like that πŸ™‚

  1. What a perfect caption for that hot-air balloon – dreams adrift. Have you ever ridden in one?

That lake looks so serene. Such a lovely spot for reading, writing, or just chillaxing. *sigh*

spellbound in those silent moments we pause to hear the music of the night…
simply gorgeous images…I love the shades of blue to follow the shades of night you have captured in timelessness….
locked eyes…the moment when the soul sets their spirit free tobe
Wonderful words, within beautiful photographs….Thank you for sharing you and your art
